Re: [Digital BW] Refillable 2400 Carts

2007-12-01 by ferdinand_paris

My understanding was that all these refillable carts come from China
(hence Epson using trade sanctions as a lever). Thus it is something
of a lottery. Even for MIS (as some of the complaints on this forum
indicate).

And who knows if I buy from the same supplier as you, whether or not
the supplier sources from a different manufacturer? Again a lottery
for all. The advantage of buying yourself via ebay is that at least
they're cheap, and I can justify buying more to maximise my odds.

If that fails, I guess there is refilling OEM carts using these new
nipples from R-Jet Tek.

Re your dead R2400, my understanding is that it's fairly inexpensive
to buy a service manual online. Might be a worthwhile investment to
diagnose the problem.
