Digital BW, The Print

Weird, I just have been having this problem today also on my R2400. 
Happened once before a year or so ago as well. Both times a cleaning 
cycle seemed to do the trick and the drips were gone. Mine today were 
magenta. Drips were always in the picture area. One cleaning cycle and 
no more drips. I suspect the dripping ink was cleaned off as the head 
travelled to the sponge area, but I am just guessing. Of course it is 
very disconcerting when this happens. Problem is gone now for me.

Try a cleaning cycle and Good luck.
