Dave, I have no direct experience with Jon Cone's inks in a long-shutdown situation, but I can say that with Epson pigment inks in Epson printers, it is worth my time to keep the workroom humidity adequate. That's not easy where I live! I strive for a print-room humidity of 50% year-around. It keeps the inks and paper stocks happy. I also make a point to not position a printer where sunlight through a window strikes the machine causing it to heat up and dry out. Enjoy your trip!
