Thanks for the responses everyone. I heeded the warning about getting empty carts. MIS so no stock when you try to buy, so I ordered 6 refillable carts of Eboni and a 4oz bottle syringes etc. I have been playing with some scanned images in Linux using The GIMP and gutenprint which supports my R230, allows for greyscale/monochrome printing, and has a tool for print head alignment, nozzle checks etc etc. all for free! :) I have done some printing with the EOM ink. I must say that the result is quite dependant upon the contrast of the images being printed. A shot of a gleaming Harley in the sun turned out quite neutral but what I thought was a great portrait of two friends is rather dull with a green-ish hue by comparison. Looking forward to trying the Eboni!
