RE: [Digital BW] Epson has revised their website (R280?)

2007-12-28 by Paul Roark

I doubt the 280 driver has a black only printing mode. QTR is "QuadToneRip"
- see http://www.quadtonerip.com/html/QTRoverview.html A "rip" (raster
image processor") is a third part printing utility that gives us control of
the printer where Epson does not. Roy Harrington's QTR is the best value in
B&W rips. For my recent inksets and workflows, QTR is used a lot to get the
most out of the printers.

sorry, but what's a QTR?

my 2400 driver does not let me select "black ink only". just wondering if
the R280 does? if
it does, i suppose it's just a matter of getting an MIS Eboni cartridge?
