No, the 2400 has a larger drop size.  But give it a try and see if you like
the results.  QTR allows users to try before they buy (for all of $50).  If
you have OEM MK, the prints will be warm, whereas Eboni is neutral.
However, with either ink you'll be able to see if the print is smooth enough
for you.
