Have you tried the "Thick" setting in the Utilities panel of the printer? That seemed to work better for me with 300 gsm Entrada. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "olaf ringdahl" <o.ringdahl@...> wrote: > I'm on my third 2400 because of paper feed problems. In every case I have been able, for a while, to feed the Silver Rag (300 gsm) but rarely without special treatment. With my third machine, a replacement refurb, the feed worked well, for a while, but now it refuses to accept the Silver Rag in the rear feed, where it belongs, but accepts it, grudgingly (requiring a slight nudge) in the top feed. From my experience it seems that forcing Silver Rag through the 2400 will, in time, damage the feed mechanism. I hope I am wrong. I would like to know if others are having the same experience or if my experience is just a fluke. Have any of you run a lot of Crane Silver Rag through a 2400? What problems, if any, did you encounter? > > Olaf
