Re: No Ultratone cartridges for my new R280 at Inksupply. How much trouble am I in?

2008-01-12 by Steven Karafyllakis

Hello Dave;

Probaly the best work-around right now is to get a CIS (continuous
ink system) from one of several sources. They use an auto-reset
chip, so you don't need a resetter (which isn't available anyway)
and you don't have to mess with refilling the carts. Others will
jump in with their own favorite brands, but I'm currently using some
Chinese import systems I found on eBay, with MIS bulk inks. It's
been heaven, let me tell you-no clogs due to iterrupted ink flow in
the heads, no re-filling, nada. Just print, and occasioanlly top off
the ink tanks. Email me off-list if you'd like a link.

PS-the usual disclaimer: I'm just a satisfied user.
