Steve...years ago I used to store tri-x in the freezer for months.
  when I decided to use it roll by roll I let it thaw out , exposed 
it,and develpped it ..ASAP...never had a problem,some of it was 6moths 
past it's due date
I never used xp2 though so your results may vary???
