Re: [Digital BW] Scratch Disk

Yes, it is more appropriate for Win98 and also true of Win2000 which is
what I run. I have not "upgraded" to XP or Vista and do not plan too do
so. I am actually trying to convert to Linux for as much as I can. I have
heard a lot of horror stories of unprotected Windows computers that got so
infected with virus, ad-ware, malware, etc. that they had to be
reformatted, even those running XP. I know none of us would run without
anti-virus and anti-malware software but there is always a chance that
someone will come up with a new attack that will get through and do damage
before our protective software can get updated to save us. I am not
paranoid but I try to do whatever I can to protect my data and to be able
to ease my recovery if something does happen.
