Brain,

I am in total agreement here. If you have your data backed up, then it
is no problem. Not using partitions allows for much more efficient use
of the avialable space by e.g. reducing fragmentation. It also avoids
the case of the system drive filling up whilst the disk still has a
lot of capacity.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
