Note that the Eboni-6, 100% carbon inkset will probably work in that old machine. It'll be about a month before MIS can get set up for bulk production. Expect results similar in smoothness to the old Piezo BW, but much more stable. Print tones are relatively neutral - cool to warm, depending on paper. For inkset information, see http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Eboni-6.pdf I believe the Premier Art Smooth BW 200 would feed OK in the 3000. So, if the machine works well, a geographically close purchaser might be able to have a very good 16 x 20 fine art printer.
