Re: how to test my new (refurbed) Epson R1800

2008-02-06 by Paul Whiting

Thanks, Gary,

Perhaps those ESC codes will be in the manual... but if they're not,
I'd like to get back to you later to see what that means. Your
suggestion stirs some dim memories from my DOS days, when my Epson was
a barebones dot matrix printer... wow, remember those? I'm trying to
recall what that meant... seems ESC codes gave you italics, bold,
subscript, superscript, whatever. And you had to place an ESC 27 code
or some such to provide the entryway to these others.

I'm really scratching the bottom of my memory barrel here! If you'd
care to give me a preview, I'd sure appreciate it, in case these
aren't in the manual.

Regard,

Paul

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
