Austin,  remember this was the very first version of the Piezo software.
Many people complained of the screen pattern, and only a few complained
about the striping. It could have been so many things, the model of the
computer, settings, etc., but they did fix the problem, so I assume it
was a bug. Sure wasted a lot of paper though!

I'm on a Mac, of course :).

You are very lucky to have a 3000 printer that works perfectly. I sure
wish mine had. I had 2 different 3000 printers, and 1 was sent in to
epson for repair 2 times, and the other 3 times. 

Wonder if they will EVER update that printer?
