Hi Jerry, > Austin, remember this was the very first version of the Piezo software. > Many people complained of the screen pattern, Yes, I do remember that... > and only a few complained > about the striping. I just don't remember anything about that though...but obviously, if you had a problem with it, it was a problem for you ;-) > It could have been so many things, the model of the > computer, settings, etc., but they did fix the problem, so I assume it > was a bug. Sure wasted a lot of paper though! I'm sure. > I'm on a Mac, of course :). Well...if you had been on a PC, you wouldn't have had that problem ;-) > You are very lucky to have a 3000 printer that works perfectly. I sure > wish mine had. I had 2 different 3000 printers, and 1 was sent in to > epson for repair 2 times, and the other 3 times. I was NOT lucky, Jerry. I, in fact, brought my printer in TWICE to be aligned, and both times, I still had banding. I ended up writing my own 3000 alignment utility (I am sorry, it is NOT available, as it is not easy to use, and it would take hours to explain how to use it), and got my printer aligned perfectly my self. As I said, luck had not a thing to do with it. Regards, Austin
