2200 paper path causes problems with some of the new surfaces...softer maybe than old surfaces...some are reportedly problems for 2400 as well... One easy fix: simplify paper path by feeding from back, not top, and by elevating paper exit in front, NOT by raising tray but instead by supporting paper IMMEDIATELY as it exits machine..easily done by putting a paper box on top of tray, up close to the paper exit.. I had roller marks, not seen except at angle, on several of new Moab/Legion's best papers as well as their cheapest glossy (no problem with excellent old Moab Kokopelli gloss or Costco gloss). My workaround solves the problem. Might be possible to load from top if only that elevation routine is used, but I've not checked. I agree about MIS. Works fine for a while. I'd prefer what I produced with their B&W until I added up the hassle (many evidently love the hassle, I don't mean to criticize it)..and threw out my MIS-dedicated machine...probably retiring my remaining 2200 anyway...more into photography than tinkering with printers/inks...will likely switch to HP.
