There is a subtle but noticeable difference. It appears that edges are more sharply defined using HF-S, with shadows running a bit deeper. It might be necessary to do a very slight Curves correction to bring up the shadows. But it may also depend on the image content as to whether this is required. The tests I've done so far have been on EEM and HPR, which correlate very well with each other. I'd be interested in hearing from others who may have looked into this. Harry
