Subject: [Digital BW] Interest in seeing K7 gloss? Let me know

While working with this new Selenium K7 inset from Cone and attempting
ink and gloss optimizer setups in the RIP to use with a few of the
newest photo papers, it occurred to me to post this here, in hopes it
would not come off as a solicitation. Several decisions need to be made
about the process here-

What do demanding B&W print workers think of it?
Should I continue to perfect it and offer it as a service locally?
Can I afford to devote an entire printer to it?
... etc...

It also seems to me people here might be very interested in seeing the
results for themselves for many reasons, clearly it seems to be a niche
approach at this point, and an intriguing one. Seven dilutions, the new
photo papers, etc..
I am not interested in having sample prints become part of my business,
or try to promote them as a product by which to profit.
It looks to me like I can produce and mail a package with 2 letter size
prints, one on Ilford Gold Fiber Silk, and the other on Innova Ultra
Smooth (same as Epson Exhibition Fiber) for $6.00 a package. Of course
they will all be the same image, of my choice.

So, my question-
-is there interest?

Obviously I will have some up front costs, so interest ahead of time
would be good to gauge. I don't need commitments, just interest.
What do you think? If there is interest I will provide a link when
ready, please do not try to request samples on this list, that's
important. This has nothing to do with Inkjetmall by the way, I think
they are working on their own papers and profiles for it. Not sure, I'm
off on my own with this stuff...

Thanks,
Tyler
