Dear Peter,
I had a simillar experience on my 7600 both with the Ilford Gold and with a 350gsm Cotton Fabric we use for fine art printing. The UK Epson repair center told me to remove the "Cutting Blade" as it can snag on thicker substrates, and wasn't much use anyway. I don't know if you have a blade on that printer but if you have, that may be the cause. We have not had any problems since, if you want the details contact me direct.

Subject: [Digital BW] Head strikes
Hi Folks,
I've been getting some head strikes with my R2400 using Ilford Gold
Silk. It's just at the end of the sheet. I think it's just after the
paper leaves the last support that it rises a little. Anyone have
experience with this? Any ideas as to what to do? I really like the
paper, but this is very annoying!
Regards,
Peter
