To find out what was happening I directed some light at an angle on the surface of the paper while printing and found that the Ilford cockles a bit just as the ink is applied, causing the head to contact the surface. The paper recovers quickly and is flat again once it emerges from the printer. Not sure if you can do this on your 2400, but I can increase my platen height a couple of steps and this has cured the problem. Best; Patrick Carr -- Carr Imaging patcarr@...
