thanks don,can you use same resetter used for the mis refillable carts?also not sure if epson print monitor gives ink percentages in mac format,I've not seen them.thanks again,bruce

  You need to get a resetter for your cartridges. When the print monitor
  says you need to change the cartridge, take it out of the printer and
  reset the chip. Put it back in and make a note of the fact that this
  color has been reset. When the ink monitor for the cartridges shows
  that this color is down 25% you must manually take out this cartridge
  and put in a new full one. Change your note to show that this color
  is new.

  Note, the 25% has been safe for me on a 2200 over about 50 cartridges.
  One time, when I was testing this, I let the Magenta run longer and
  at about 27% on the monitor the Magenta quit and Green grass turned
  Cyan for the rest of the print. Your percentage may vary.

  Resetting the cartridges and getting another 25% from each means that
  I get one more cartridge worth out of every four cartridges. Buying my
  cartridges from Atlex for $8.90 each means I wouldn't consider using
  third party ink. I've only had to do a heat clean twice in over two
  years and Epson's archival properties are well known.

  Hope this helps others get 25% more out of their cartridges.

  resetting chip when red light appears? seems to be more ink in cart at
