It has been a while since I have even briefly experimented with this feature but is the highlight point shift feature supposed to print the slight gray tone over the entire_sheet of paper vs. just correcting the blown-out areas? Since I just printed a test image at less than full page, I certainly noticed this time when the gray covered the whole page. I have a rather large portion of blown-out area in a gray sky where the sun is trying to break through the clouds. It goes totally white and results in gloss differential from my R2400, so I was trying to take the easy way out by going through ABW and using the highlight point shift option ;) Thanks in advance, Doug --- BetterScanning.com - Innovative Accessories for Better Film Scanning http://www.BetterScanning.com/
