I found my 1800 rollers had become fouled with all the glop experiments. It was resulting in vertical banding and could be what you're seeing. I clean rollers by spraying Ace Janitor Strength Smmonia across the central portion of an EEM sheet and running it through the printer. I follow that with several sheets of plain paper. Then I repeat the process. I found in the first cycle the papers came out with lots of ink on them. The second cycle was clean. It seemed to work.
