Thanks Alistair, I've seen that review. While very comprehensive, what I liked about the macuser one is that it compares the current (as of Jan 2008) competition in that class and it actually gave me a clear indication as to which printer the reviewer thought is best for b/w from the bunch. Most other reviews pretty much tell you that they are all good in their own way, which I'm sure it's true as it's all subjective :). --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Alistair Owens" <owens@...> wrote: > > This site will, I imagine, give a more professional and subjective review > than can be expected from Macuser. > > > > http://www.photo-i.co.uk/Reviews/printers_page.htm > > > > regards > > > > Alistair Owens > > owens@... > > > > From: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > [mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Richard > Sintchak > Sent: 21 March 2008 4:26 p.m. > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Subject: Re: [Digital BW] Re: Need help choosing printer solution (R2400 vs > PIXMA Pro 9500 vs 3-MK) > > > > >>>>Macuser.co.uk put the 9500 "head, shoulders, > > knees and toes" above the other same class printers (R2400 & HP > > B9180) - http://www.macuser.co.uk/macuser/labs/151248.
