Digital BW, The Print

Friedlander. SFMOMA....was there last weekend.

Exceptionally fine prints (I'd not expected that), and an eye-opener
about the range of his photographic theme projects...including for me
the fact that he photographed with individual books in mind.

Somewhere on Geary St there's a group of photo galleries, one of them
featuring newer Friedlander work...I'm told.
