Digital BW, The Print

Thank you everyone for the advice. It was really helpful and i looked at  the 
suggested websites.
i do know i l ike the cooler tones myself and i will be making this epson  
into a black and white only.
 
Years ago one of my favorite jobs was as a photo finisher. i printed all  the 
color enlargements from 5x7 to 16 x 20's. i also was responsible for all  
printing of black and whites. I loved it. it was a great job and i did it for 8  
or 9 years until of course everyone became enamored with hour printing.
 
It didn't pay much but the satisfaction of a job well done was great. As a  
teacher of 14 year old's you just don't get that same satisfication. : )
