Yes.  Have you found a good source for empty 1400 carts and chips?

I'm not sure about Eboni's compatibility with Claria inks.  If they 
are not compatible, they'll mix on the pad and you'll notice some 
clogging.

By the way, the 1400 makes very nice black only prints with MIS UT-RC 
PKN -- which also is sold as a PK-Cool and may be more neutral on 
most glossy papers.

All MIS Eboni is the same.  So, you could buy Eboni-6 K (Eboni) or if 
you have any from a previous MIS inkset, that'll do also.

I'm not sure what article that is, but I suspect I was talking about 
eh 2400.  So far, the 1400 seems to be printing rather well with less 
than all channels firing.

It's just a little early in my 1400 exploration to know which 
direction I'll go with it.  I'm starting to lean toward a single B&W 
installation that can do carbon warm to cool, matte and glossy, 
including glop.
