Hello Paul and Scott,

I just wanted to jump in and say im very intrested in this topic
since I just bought a 1400.

There are a few sources for 1400 refillable cartridges with auto
reset chips. This ebay auction is one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Empty-refillable-cartridges-for-Epson-stylus-1400-
print_W0QQitemZ200222790929QQcmdZViewItem

I dont know if all catridges and chips are like this but if you read
the fine print its an all or nothing deal.....you have to use all 6
cartridges it says so just putting one catridge in wont work.

Im waiting also to see where Scott got his cartridges from because im
either going to get a set or a CIS for my printer.

Thanks Paul for your work on the 1400 I cant wait to see what all you
come up with for it.

James
