Hi Vincent,

Paul will no doubt offer his expert opinion here, but did you try
searching past messages? Paul has written volumes on Carbon-6 and many
have discussed cleaning cartridges. 

Paul is an incredible resource to this site but sometimes I think we
take him for granted.
