My write ups are at http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Ink-Mixing.pdf and http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Eboni-6.pdf Eboni-6 uses a commercial base from MIS. Carbon-6 is an open-source base. The surfactant in Carbon-6 is not as strong at the commerical base, but it's good for 3 pl printers (all but the 1.5 1800 and 1400). The commercial bases have some ingredients that I have not put in the generic one. Biosides are probably the main one. I, frankly, doubt carbon or the base will be attacked, but only time will tell. Visually they inks are very similar, with Carbon-6 being just a hair cooler. The mix ratios are a bit different. Carbon-6 has a simplified one that makes mixing without a scales much easier. Hope this helps. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
