Joost, I have an Ink Republic CIS in my CX6600 and it has been flawless since day one. I highly recommend their products if the design is basically the same as it was when I bought mine. Their damper is about as close to the design that Epson used in the 9000/9500 as you can get without infringing on a patent. They use Image Specialists inks in their CIS which may help to keep the design working.
