Compare the cost of the inks per unit volume instead of the price of the printer. Then compare the prints. I say the cost of the inks is important because that is what gets used the most, and is the constant draw on your bank account. If you are going to move to a third party pigment ink, then Epson is still the best choice for this, and it really comes down to the width that you want.
