CIS pricing?

Looking around at CIS systems and their price.

Can anyone justify why a 1270/80 CIS unit would be valued at twice 
the amount of an 1160 unit.  Half again I could understand but not 2x.

Think I'll be picking up a 1270 in the next couple days.
