Hi Tony,
you don't have to swap MK/PK with the 3800. 

The HP is interesting, but there are two things that make me hesitate about this printer: 
1. BW can't be toned in the driver.
2. No LLK, only Light Gray (same as Light Black?)

How have you found these features impact on your BW printing?
