Digital BW, The Print

Hello!
I just received my Epson 1400 and am trying to decide which way to go-CIS or refillable 
carts. I already have a CIS on my 1280 (getting old) and am refilling my 4000 carts with MIS 
ink (using more ink to clean than to print). I would like to print BW and color on the 1400. If I 
set it up to print BO (Eboni) and used refillable carts with MIS dye ink for the remaining carts, 
would this be feasible? Some thoughts please.

FYI: superjetusa.com seems to have a very inexpensive CIS with auto reset chips, clear 
spongless carts for $49.00! It appears well made.
