Lorie, this is true, but you also lose the incredible convenience of having built in red, green, and blue filters. It's awful nice to be able to use the channel mixer in photoshop to get the exact tones you want. And it's even nicer that you can use these filters with no increase in aperture or decrease in shutter speeds!
