Scott, >... > is there an other info on your EB6-YK set-up? ... Not really. On the 1400 I rather like the Y-K setup, and not much more is needed. With my 2200, I've added a 10% UC MK to smooth out the middle values. It ads a bit of warmth, but not that much. To be honest, I'm looking at the other sources of gray inks now. The HP gray initially looks to be stable in the simple C6 base, as does the Epson UC MK -- perhaps as a warm toner. I'm also curious about the Canon offering (and waiting for some spectro info on it). These alternative gray inks might be very interesting inputs, particularly if the black inks dilute well and have neutral tones. If they are diluted and used with Eboni as the MK, they may still be rather inexpensive. But all this will take time to sort out and test. For now, my main 13" printer is a 1400 with Eboni-6 Y and K in it. I the Y-K profile 50/50 with a 3-MK profile, using QTR and it's sliders that allow mixing profiles. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
