Vlly, The Nikkormat has the original SLR Nikon mount, right? A tab with a slot in it to engage the lens f-stop ring with a pin in the prism light meter? If so, the lens will not fit any of the newer Nikon bodies without alteration. I looked at having all my F lens modified years ago and at that time there were still a few people doing the conversions. There might be a repair shop that can do the work for you.
