Jerry, I never found that the pencil put down an acceptable amount of lead on the glossy prints for me. Perhaps it's because I'm left handed and I 'push' my pencils, and cannot put much pressure without tearing the surface. This is not a big deal. Idid not mean to imply that there was something *wrong* with a pencil on a glossy surface....It just did not work for me.
