Please excuse the plug -- but it's at least non-profit. (And we really give meaning to that status!) The Golden Trout Photo Workshop will be July 5 - 11 this year. This is a High Sierra wilderness camp that provides a unique opportunity to experience this type of environment with a group a avid B&W (and color) photographers. The workshop will appeal mostly to those who love the High Sierra (10,000 ft. elevation and above) type of environment. Most days include short or moderate (optional) hikes to excellent photo op locations in the John Muir Wilderness. Roy Harrington and I will, of course, be there demostrating B&W printing and profiling. While it is in the wilderness, we have solar electric systems for charging camera batteries, as well as running printers and computers. (I'll be shooting with the Canon 5D2 this year as opposed to my usual mf film.) See http://www.goldentroutworkshops.org/ for general information. See http://www.paulroark.com/GTthumbnails.html for more information and some links to photos of mine in the area. The registration form and brochure is at http://www.goldentroutworkshops.org/GTCbrochure09_2.pdf A full week is only $495 -- can't beat the price. I expect the workshop fill. Let me know if you have any questions. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
