I'm seriously thinking of making their Natural my main paper -- with the Eboni/Carbon-6 inkset. I'm currently using the Premier Art Smooth BW as my standard, but I really want to get away from OBAs. The Generations Alise Natural prints with a 3 unit Lab B rise, which is fairly modest. See http:// www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Eb6-PA-GenAliseNat-ExeterMat-Tones.jpg to see the print tones. Since my mat board Lab B is close to the maximum the new paper hits, the prints look fairly neutral. So, I'm starting to think I'll be able to combine non-OBA paper, high dmax, and 100% carbon -- which is a very appealing combination to me. While the Eboni-6 settling is a bit of a nuisance, but truth is my rolling the end of the printer back and forth routinely seems to take care of the problem, and that is easy to do. Super cheap, 100% carbon, and no clogs makes it rather easy to live with. Now with super blacks, it's looking even better. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
