Thanks for the replies folks. I do you MK ink so I guess it's just a  
case of getting used to the differences. Looking forward to the new  
Epson Hot Press when it comes out in the hopes the blacks will be a  
little deeper.

Guess the thing that really makes the differences stand out is when  
you view the prints under brighter light levels. Under average light  
the differences aren't as noticeable unless you really look for them.
