yet, the epson printer utility was helping against banding (quite often).

Should be possible to refill my r1800 this way...
i guess, even better with HP-ink, as Paul Roark wrote in some essays.
(i've got 2 printers, still working. no need to buy a new one)

Epson K3 Mk is still brownish, isn't it?
