Yes, put the Eboni MK in the 1800 K position.  I see I forgot to be specific about that in the PDF.  I was assuming most people doing this would have the 3-MK setup installed.

Correct. With the Eboni-6 1800 arrangement 6 positions is all you need.

Yes, the reason for the ink order is to allow the Epson driver to work, including with the ICCs that are in the Zip file.  They include a curve that partitions the inks, as well as, of course, "color managing" the workflow so that the print relative densities will match a calibrated monitor.

You need something there, and as long as that position is working I'd keep it working with a clear fluid.  Don't run it dry, and the C6 clear fluid or the like is less likely to clog than a pigment or MIS glop.
