Digital BW, The Print

Does anyone have experience using an Epson 300 as a B&W Printer? I did not find much direct info searching the archives. On the MIS site they sell cartridges for the 200/220 and I believe they are roughly the same class of printer.

The QuadtoneRip site mentions the R300 but only in conjunction with the
Mediastreet Quadblack inks which I do not think are available any longer.

Any advice or thoughts on using this printer are welcomed.
