You're welcome. I have a question for you now.

Why do you change the subject headers so much? I was already following this
thread as you know, 'cause I participated in it, so I really don't need it
called to my personal attention. The downside for me is that my email
program sorts a thread by the beginning of the thread name. If I ever want
to go back through my archive, this message will not group with those that
proceeded it. I see this occurring a lot. Branches upon branches of threads,
splintering apart based upon specific individuals names. I'll really hate to
want to see the entirety of a thread in the future when I have to try to
gather all it's disparate name components. What I'll get is a huge string of
messages that start with "4...", but are in no way connected.

Does your mail program work differently than mine, such that your method is
effective? For me this doesn't work very well at all. Seems to me, if you'd
just add your addendum at the rear of the subject line, rather than the
start, you'd accomplish your targeting without obliterating the continuity.
But perhaps I'm just old fashioned. ;-)

Sorry for my usual bluntness,
Todd

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
