I believe it's the same printer as the R220 but accepts memory cards
directly and has a screen on it.

I use the R220 myself with Paul Roark's UTR2 inkset and recommend it. The
Epson driver works fine- you don't need QTR. If you go this route, I
recommend keeping two of the slots for a warm (vs a neutral) ink as 6
neutral look quite cool to me, especially on glossy paper.
You also don't need to buy the whole inkset- buy bottles of photo black
(PK), Eboni (MK), one warm and cool dark (magenta or cyan) and one warm and
cool light (LC, LM) and that's all you need.

The R220 refillable carts should work- MIS' website lists all the compatible
models.
