John, to be honest I took this no further. I was sent into crisis mode to solve it, dropped a bunch of other fires to look for a solution, then some time later got another email from the client saying... "never mind..."
so, I just got back to the other fires..

I'm sort of surprised, after years of inkjets being made, there was no more list knowledge to share about it.
Anyway, I probably won't be able to put any more time into it until there's another related crisis...
No recommendations for laminating here, it just hasn't come up. I rarely seem to get people wanting anything but bare prints from me, which makes me very happy as even just that seems nearly impossible sometimes.. like today...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
