Re: Does my D300 have a glitch?

2009-04-21 by lestihor

Bob,
I have a similar situation with my Sony DSC-R1. I shoot in raw, but when I upload to my computer with automatic delete from my camera, I find that I have uploaded only JPEG files. A check on my camera shows no files left on the card. However, I discovered by accident that if I connect to the computer again and run through the upload procedure a second time, this time the raw files show up. I have no explanation for this, but you may want to try uploading twice and seeing if this same happens with your D300.

The files do not open automatically with or without conversion to dng. I have no problems with my d70 raw camera files opening directly with the above system. Is this a problem with the camera, or something else? Would appreciate some help.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
