The problem could be due to the fact that Lightroom does not have a B&W
colorspace even when you do  B&W conversion.  Everything stays in the
specified RGB colorspace.  I don't know how it would map to a B&W output
profile..

Jacob,

I have exactly the same problem, and have not yet found a solution. Every
other ICC I install works just fine, but not the black and white ones.
(Lightroom 2.3 and Vista 64, same as you)

I've had this problem since lightroom 2.0, so it doesn't seem to be a 2.3
bug.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
